Mladite (MLah-dee-tay)

Mladite’s attractive. She’s a virgin of soul, spirit and body at eighteen. Her curves make women stop and stare (and men are curious to see what the women are staring at). Her luscious lips are constantly moistened by her feisty tongue, while her hazel, rounded eyes are full of mischief and magnified by long, natural lashes. Mladite’s straight black hair flows freely down her neck, unable to cover her perky cleavage. Her stomach is flat and her long legs flex just enough to let everyone know they are strong. Her soft yet commanding voice sounds a fantasy, feminine vibe. In fact, Mladite was homecoming queen last year during her senior year at Falcon High, yet you might think she models in France the way she walks her taught thighs, but her breasts are much too large for that. And you know… it isn’t only her curvaceous body that makes Mladite so desirable.

Some men at school may be frustrated with several situations, but when they look at Mladite and she looks at them, frustrating thoughts are fleeting and calmness prevails (and then their eyes seem to be looking down—in thought, you know). Her ambiance is mature for her age, yet you can say exactly what you feel when you are near Mladite. This ambiance, in addition to her sensuous voice, gives her an overpowering charm with men. Her persuasive powers will talk most anyone into anything and almost everyone enjoys calling her a friend, even the jealous girls. The few that cannot contain their envy, anyway, wear too much cover-up to be beautiful.

Or maybe it is those black high heels laced around her ankles, complimenting the occasional sleek black dress, which hugs her body that oozes sensuality. An anaphylactic man, for example, might stand unalarmed beneath a raging bee-hive while Mladite breathes ten feet away. And maybe, just maybe, having never spoken to her before, he observes her hand brush aside flowing black hair from her left ear as she tenderly turns to reveal that amber face, the long earring shimmering and glimmering beneath the light. This might be enough to make her so damn desirable!

But Mladite is not perfect. She feels awkward when she tries to gain acceptance from peers. In fact, she fell the few times she tried to climb popularity’s shifting ladder. She usually doesn’t drink socially either, unless in the company of family. At social parties, an independent spectator might notice her quietly laughing at her drunken peers; yet a few of those drunks might recall the instance she did binge drink and fell on top of the swim team’s captain, wrapping her arms around him and loudly proclaiming her love for him. Needless-to-say, she is not a jersey chaser, even though every jock is often charmed by her innocent sense of humor and svelte body.

Mladite rarely has a boyfriend due to her self-imposed rules. Her first rule is that she will not kiss until they have been friends for at least one month. This, she thinks, weeds out sexual lust and immediate infatuation. Besides, why be in a relationship that won’t last or might label you loose? Mladite’s last rule is that they must be educated and aspire to decent goals. She’ll divorce the day she’s with a determined deadbeat—married or not. Why should she work vigorously to provide for someone who purposely won’t support them self? And why have these self-imposed rules? They keep her heart safe and her brain sane. When Mladite turns on her wit, charm and intellect, men yearn to be with her. Who doesn’t want a girl that seemingly has it all and probably will have it all—for a very long time?

Mladite sets goals that she completes and due to her decisive dedication, she responsibly raises her personal bar of goals often. An independent observer might say she has a natural will to improve. She studies a situation and either takes part of the magnificent memory it will make, or abstains from the degradation it would create. At this moment, she sits in bed humming quietly and edits her first music album. She loves house music, like Tiesto, and is attempting to write a congruent story that would be revealed throughout the album. In her first draft, she wrote ten love songs based on how ten different cultures view love. She starts with a Buddhists interpretation, followed by a Brazilian, Mangaian, Shaker, Indian, New Yorker, Russian, Swedish, Missionary and Icelandic. She is currently revising the Mangaian love song.

By the way, everyone knows her as Nasha.

Impeach on the 60^th Day

“Nasha,” he began as they walked toward the car with their tennis rackets, “Are you familiar with the War Powers Act or the Patriot Act?”

“Yes, grandpa. According to the War Powers Act, the President is supposed to terminate the war after sixty days if Congress does not ‘declare war.’ But reality, grandpa. Reality! The reality is that the President can engage war at will these days.”

“Nasha,” he stopped ten feet from the car in order to gain her undivided attention, “What would be the proper reform passed by Congress after this umpteenth war declared by the President?”

“If they really wanted to represent the people?”

“Of course, sweetheart.” Mitchell sensed her sensitivity—her honest nature.

“Congress should pass a law requiring an up or down vote to ‘declare war’ once the President engages drones or troops… with or without permission… after 30 days.”

“That’s a really good idea!”

“It should be a misdemeanor to continue the war if the Congress did not ‘declare war.’”

“Yes!” He was so excited that he nearly tinkled. “Return my Constitution!”

Nasha grabbed his right bicep, “And if the troops or drones are still firing without a ‘declaration of war’… then there should be a mandatory up or down vote to impeach the President after 30 additional days.”

“My God, Nasha. Now that’s the change we need!”

Plainly, I am Nobill (pronounced Know Bill). This I have taught my Self! Those Nobill are Spirits that focus on being noble and engage their will! Noble Will! Though rare, we are increasing in numbers because of global communication, diversified education and the encouragement of cosmopolitan exercises—of tolerance! Yes! Tolerance does contain excellence! And we are noble because we speak the truth, which almost all peoples still hide and Nobill humans engage truth into public discourse, events and attitudes. Our will is like the wind—it never dies and when summoned clears everything in its path! Yes! So many seek shelter from Nobill wind—noble will!

The Nobill might soon learn to recognize each other around the globe. Regarding this, my spirit can only follow as fast as I am able to act in my daily actions and reactions. If I take no action today to make the world a better place, then my spirit also does not take a step forward toward a humane civilization. Surely, complicity is never a step forward. Those noble of heart yet lack the will to action are not Nobill! Those whose will to action is engaged for other purposes than the humane are not Nobill! With the Earth as our land base, we shall change the political, educational and philosophical climate!

So basically, I didn’t want to call these people “good” because everyone would think of their own meaning… and my words would be meaningless.  I’m trying to define a way to live life.
